What the app stores

When you use MOVA, the app stores the information needed to create and display your demo rides:

Pickup and destination names and coordinates you select
Your selected ride style and estimated fare
Simulated trip status, driver, vehicle, and license plate details
The date and time a demo ride was created or updated

This information is stored locally on your device. The current app does not create an account or upload these details to MOVA.

Location

The current preview does not ask for permission to access your live device location. “Current pickup” and nearby vehicles are simulated around sample San Francisco locations.

Maps and Apple services

MOVA uses Apple MapKit to display maps. Your device may communicate with Apple to load map content. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and service terms.

No real bookings or driver data

Driver matching, vehicles, pickup estimates, fares, and trip progress are simulated. The current preview does not send ride requests to drivers, transportation providers, or a MOVA server.

This website

This static website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking scripts, cookies, account forms, or third-party embeds. If you email support, your email provider and ours process the message so we can respond.

Deleting your data

You can cancel an active demo ride within the app. To erase all locally stored MOVA data, delete the app from your iPhone. Because MOVA does not receive this data, we cannot retrieve it after deletion.

Children’s privacy

MOVA is not directed to children under 13, and the current preview does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as MOVA adds features such as real bookings, accounts, payments, or cloud sync. We will revise the effective date and describe materially different data practices before those features launch.
